I just finished reading Monnie's blog and I am sad to see that they found Nialah Franklin's body. I won't go on long, but I will say that I felt what Monnie was saying. I looked at her and I felt like I could've known her. I related to her and I read about her accomplishments and she gave me hope that I could be a single, successful, black woman. My heart goes out to her family who never once gave up hope that she was ok. I am consumed in prayer for her family and all of the people who were involved in this tragic event. And may GOD have mercy on the soul that did this to this woman...

MISSING AND BLACK.....

Have you heard about Nialah Franklin? She has been missing since Sept. 19, 2007. It hurts my heart to the core that she is in danger. Do I know her? No. Have I met her before? No. I know nothing about her, except that she reminds me of myself, and that haunts me to the core. Because I am a black woman, who is making strides, dating, living my life to the fullest. And bc she does this, trustingly, she is now in what is believed to be danger. From someone she knows..someone she trusted. IT SCARES ME....but at this point all I can do is pray....for her safe return, for her family, for her co-workers. For her life. Any way I can be an outlet I will...I heard they have found her vehicle, and some of her things...everyone please pray.

ITS INTERESTING TO ME....

I'm not one for the posting of gossip and what not, but this picture is so cute. I love Weeds...I TIVO it, been a fan since season 1. I had no idea that Mary-Louise Parker was married to Billy Cudrup and he left her for Claire Danes a while back, while she was pregnant, thank you very much. But that's neither here nor there...the point of this picture is the little girl!!! It's her new daughter....adopted of course. BUT SHE IS SO ADORABLE!!! So cute!! Thought this would be interesting to some...I dunno, a lighter note than all of whats going on. Ya'll have a wonderful weekend ok!! Be Easy!!

I walked into work today and almost everyone....including some of the white people, had on all black today. It made me proud....did you wear all black today?

Ok, so I am sure you are over the commentary for the VMA's, but I do have to get some things off my chest about it.

My new girl crush, which used to be Ms. Jackson, is now Ms. Keys. WTF!!! Did you see her body? Sick!! It really makes me want to work it out!! And honestly, she was the best performer there. She was the only one who SANG! Everyone was lip singing, and I didn't appreciate it at all. Alicia ROCKED it, looked amazing, and her new song "No One" is my new myspace song. Such a good song...man!!

Chris Brown was the next best performance, but he didn't sing. Ya know? If your going to be in this game, and call yourself and entertainer, imma need you to have the stamina to do it. Beyonce, as much as some people hate, sings and dances her ass off every time she does it. Daddy Knowles whipped that into shape a while ago, and it has paid off. Although, Mr. Brown did do a very extraordinary job of dancing. And channeling Micheal Jackson????? Get it BIG!!

I still don't like Kanye West.....he's too over the top for me. Head got way too big after College Drop out.....

As much as I don't like 50 Cent, I heard some of his new album and I like it. I honestly think he will give Kanye a run for his money. Ayo Technology is my song, and I Get Money, been bumping it, I ain't gone lie.

I was pissed that they didn't show us full versions of what was going on in all the suites. I mean come on...Fall Out boy with Neyo?? Foo Fighters??? TI in the Southern Hospitality suite!!?!?!?!!?!?? Adam Levine??? I am UP-set!! Those performances were WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than the crap they put on main display....like Britney.

Speaking of which...
I ALMOST have no words for...didn't it look like she was constipated? I'm going to chalk it up to that...bc there was no excuse for her to come out and half ass other than, she had to be constipated. At least that's the look that I got from her body language.....what? Sue me...you know you thought it too......that chile is crying out for help and you know it!!!

JT can have it....however, whenever, it doesn't matter. His swagger is beyond me. I know, I'm supposed to be upset with him about the whole Janet thing. But whatever, I'm not. Never was.....I just know that I would have knocked doors down to be at him and Timbaland's Southern Hospitality Party..KNOCKED DOORS DOWN, do you here me????? Madness.....

All in all though, it was a very overrated affair to me. Too much going on, and kinda one of those things where you had to be there. Which from the above paragraph, we all know I wanted to, but didn't. Did you watch??
