YOU CAN FIND ME IN ST. LOUIS!!!

How ya'll been? I already know, I don't have to ask. Yes, I have been lurking on your blogs when I get some free time....and yes, I know I haven't commented, but that's neither here nor there. Just know that I STILL and ALWAYS will have love for my blog family. Even though there aren't that many of ya'll, but yet and still.

So the happenings of my life haven't changed much at all since I've been MIA for a little while. The whole debacle with the post before this one has been cleared up. Thank the Lord for that bc the police were about to be involved. He almost went stalker on me, he actually just got the hint not to call my phone anymore. My roommate had to get involved, bc she was sick of him trying to contact me and it was becoming a stressful situation for me and her. Scary actually bc of all the things that have been going on recently with girls turning up dead....I actually started to watch my back a little more. I was on high alert, level orange, if you will. He just wasn't getting the fact that we didn't need to be in contact with each other anymore, and as much as I hate to admit it, I jumped into something I HAD NO BUSINESS jumping into so fast. Especially after I found out he lost his job. I can sit here till I'm blue in the face, but when someone who is grown can't provide for themselves, they have no business trying to be in a relationship. (that's if your not married) But like I said that situation is over...and my heart isn't as heavy anymore.

Moving on....

So today I am amped bc "St. Louis" is coming into town. I don't think I told you guys about him.

I met him at a Xmas eve party that we had at our apartment for close friends. He came with a Friend who was invited by our soon to be 3rd roommate, who I will let you know about in just a bit.
When I met him, it wasn't an instant connection. He had on a hoodie, and he showed up at my door with beer....I didn't know who he was, but that was not cute at all to me, so I didn't really give him a 2nd glance. No one at the party did actually....until we started playing Pictionary, and he took off his jacket. Which caught every female (and a couple of males) off guard. He was BEAUTIFUL. The kind of beautiful that is very un-noticed by many, but so noticeable when your in an intimate setting like our party (get together). I wasn't trying to even go there though...bc I had just broken things off with AJ, and in my mind I was done for a while. I didn't want to be that girl...but the minute we made eye contact again....I was DONE. The party was over around 2pm....he remained behind with his friend and helped my roommates and I clean up, and we talked about EVERYTHING under the sun for the next 4 hours. Didn't once try anything... just that instant connection through communication. And for the remainder of the time that he was here...we spent alot of time together, and got to know each other better. Spent Xmas and New Years together. He was my kiss. And he went back to St. Louis on the 3rd. He is a teacher there. We have been in constant contact with each other since that day, and this morning he called me while he was on the plane(to my surprise) and told me he was coming home:)!!!!!!! ULTRA EXCITED!!

My current roommates brother is moving to VA for his job with his family. They just had a house built here in Dallas, and they don't want to sell right now, so they are letting us rent it while they are away. Cool right? So we needed a 3rd roomie, and the girl that is moving with us has been both our friends for about 3 years now. She is amazing and I can't wait to move in with her. Plus side- she will be a teacher as well!! YAHOO!!!

What else....um I'm thinking about doing teach for America. If ANYONE has any input on this let me know....I heard it was an amazing program. Sounds right up my alley actually.
